Call for Proposals – Seminar: “Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity – Landmarks” 29–30 October 2026 | Carmen Sylva Cultural Center, Sinaia, Romania

The Carmen Sylva Cultural Center in Sinaia invites researchers, professors, professionals, and students to submit proposals for the seminar “Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity – Landmarks”, an event dedicated to exploring the challenges and opportunities arising from interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches across various fields of knowledge.

Proposed themes for discussion and submissions:

  • Biocomplexity – Current interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary aspects
  • Modern culture and interdisciplinary & transdisciplinary education – Methods, practices, and innovative perspectives
  • Connections and disjunctions between science and 21st-century religion – Current interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary aspects

Types of submissions accepted:

  • Oral presentations (20 minutes)
  • Discussion sessions and workshops
  • Scientific or artistic posters with interdisciplinary relevance

Submission guidelines:

  • Title of the paper/proposal
  • Name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Abstract of maximum 300 words
  • Indication of the main theme from the list above
