Call for Proposals – Seminar: “Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity – Landmarks” 29–30 October 2026 | Carmen Sylva Cultural Center, Sinaia, Romania

The Carmen Sylva Cultural Center in Sinaia invites researchers, professors, professionals, and students to submit proposals for the seminar “Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity – Landmarks”, an event dedicated to exploring the challenges and opportunities arising from interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches across various fields of knowledge.
Proposed themes for discussion and submissions:
- Biocomplexity – Current interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary aspects
- Modern culture and interdisciplinary & transdisciplinary education – Methods, practices, and innovative perspectives
- Connections and disjunctions between science and 21st-century religion – Current interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary aspects
Types of submissions accepted:
- Oral presentations (20 minutes)
- Discussion sessions and workshops
- Scientific or artistic posters with interdisciplinary relevance
Submission guidelines:
- Title of the paper/proposal
- Name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s)
- Abstract of maximum 300 words
- Indication of the main theme from the list above
