SUMMARY:Call for Proposals – Seminar Sinaia 2026: “Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity – Landmarks” – Graphs and diagrams
DESCRIPTION:In the previous post\, the general topics related to built biocomplexity that are developed and studied within IUITCS were mentioned. We now have the pleasure of also presenting the graphs and diagrams related to this field\, taken from the works of Prof. Dr. Yannerr Bar-Yam from the USA. \nThey are illustrating the complex systems analyzed within IUITCS: fundamental systems (physical and chemical)\, bio-cellular and biomolecular systems\, physiological systems\, organisms and populations\, social and economic systems\, engineering systems. \nEssential characteristics: fields involved include Mathematics\, Physics\, Computer Science\, Biology\, Philosophy of Science and Epistemology; numerous components\, nonlinearity\, emergence\, self-organization\, dynamics far from equilibrium\, multiscale behavior\, sensitivity to initial conditions\, adaptability\, and the concept of the “Space of Experience”. \nProf. Dr. Yannerr Bar-Yam’s graphics and diagrams are presented as following: \nCharacteristics of complex systems/bio-systems \n \nRepresentation of systems/bio-systems \n \nState and phase space in dynamic bio-systems \n \n Physical / biophysical systems \n \n  Complex adaptive bio-systems \n \nEvolutionary bio-systems \n \nComplex systems – biocomplex systems \n \n
